A fantastic characteristic William (Bill) Marshall Studio Pottery bottle vase for Leach Pottery, St Ives. Hand thrown and decorated with incised markings potentially Japanese characters. Finished with an Iron glaze. Impressed to the side base with the Leach Pottery stamp and to the base with Marshals personal 'intwined WM' seal.
Overall condition is excellent with no chips or cracks evident. A lovely rough finish to the hand and beautifully balanced.
