A beautiful studio pottery unique bottle vase by Jacques Blin. Signed to the base 'J Blin'. Decorated in a Characteristic black and green glaze with a series of incised bird and tree motifs to the full circumference of the lower body section. Very good quality with no chips or cracks present.
Jacques Blin, born in 1920, was a prominent French ceramist of the mid and late century whose distinct aesthetic is one that stands out amidst an entire field of extraordinary contributors to the eraâs arts & crafts movement.
