A nicely presented studio pottery vase by an unknown potter to me. The base has a makers mark that looks like 'Sevh Mjeade? with 'TU1'. Formed to a classical Squat urn form the piece is decorated with a series of vertical ribs sectioning the body into 12 parts. Very good condition with no chips or cracks present. Multiple areas of glaze void exist in particular to the neck region - see photographs. This is a very heavy piece at 1.6Kg.
