A fantastic studio pottery vase by by John Jelfs of the Burton-on-the-Water Pottery. Decorated with a vivid green drip glaze against a Soda glaze ground in a series of bands. The vase is marked to the foot ring with Jelfs personal stamp of 'JJ'. The condition is very good with no chips or cracks evident. The green glaze has crazed under magnification.
