A fantastic studio glass bud vase by master glass blower Peter Layton. Decorated in an abstract spiders-web pattern of white against a black glass ground. Formed into a double gourd shape beneath a flared open vase mouth. The piece is signed P Layton toward the base. The overall condition is excellent with no chips or cracks evident. A few minor scuff marks can be seen under magnification. There are a couple of small orange stains to towards the base. A professional clean would eliminate these issues.
